Advanced Clinical Pain Relief in Syosset -Woodbury

The Paths to Getting Better
When you are dealing with chronic pain, you need a targeted solution, not a generic treatment plan. Because I am dual-licensed as both a Doctor of Acupuncture and a Massage Therapist, my clinic doesn't force you into a one-size-fits-all approach.
Depending on your comfort level, your injury, and your goals, we map your recovery using two distinct, standalone options:
Clinical Acupuncture: Precise, anatomically-focused needling combined with electro-stimulation. This cuts off pain signals at the nerve level and forces deep muscle triggers to reset.
Advanced Medical Massage: Direct, hands-on deep tissue bodywork and manual trigger point release. This physically breaks down stubborn knots, flushes built-up restriction, and restores normal movement to your joints.[Explore Our Medical Massage & Bodywork Protocols →]
How We Map Out Your Recovery
We don't guess with your care. Here is our straightforward, 3-step process to get you living without restrictions.
Step 1: Clinical Assessment Your First Visit
We evaluate your movement, check nerve tension, and isolate the exact muscles or joints causing the issue to pinpoint why it is failing to heal.
Step 2: Targeted Treatment Active Care Phase
We apply the precise combination of electro-acupuncture and medical massage your body needs, adjusting every session based on your response.
Step 3: Long-Term Stability Results & Prevention
Once active pain drops, we re-test movement patterns and provide guidance so you can stay active without needing constant clinic visits.

Yes, for specific plans. We specialize in maximizing your out-of-network benefits for premium commercial insurance—including The Empire Plan (NYSHIP), UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Cigna.
Our team handles 100% of the paperwork and pre-verifies your exact coverage before your first visit so there are never any financial surprises.
Please note: I operate as an out-of-network provider and do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or managed community plans (such as Fidelis, Healthfirst, or Emblem). If your plan doesn't include out-of-network coverage, our standard out-of-pocket rates apply.

Not at all. We use ultra-thin, sterile medical needles that are about the width of a hair. They look and feel nothing like the thick, hollow needles used for blood draws or shots at a regular doctor's office.
Most patients feel a quick, tiny tap when it's placed, followed by a deep sense of relaxation. Because I map out treatments to keep you completely comfortable, the experience is incredibly gentle—in fact, most of my patients fall fast asleep during their session.

Real recovery builds on itself—each session builds directly on the progress of the last to retrain your nervous system and calm muscle inflammation. Every injury is unique, but I do not believe in keeping you on an endless, open-ended treatment schedule.
For recent or minor injuries: A baseline of 6 to 7 targeted sessions is typically required to stabilize the area and get you moving comfortably again, though many patients feel a difference after the first few visits.
For long-standing or chronic conditions: A structured block of 10 to 15 sessions is standard to fully release stubborn tissue restrictions and get lasting resolution. During your first visit, we will map out an exact recovery roadmap tailored completely to your goals.
